The Writer’s Lounge Ep. 6: David Nazario

With his published creation “Make Love Your Religion”, David Nazario enlightens us to the path of the least resistance through what we are made of. Allowing his books and eloquent performances to quietly shake the room, we see that writing is not only a pastime but a necessary approach to healing the self and others. His goal is to leave the room feeling empowered. David is also in the field of publishing, helping others to fuel the neverending channel of love and healing through books as an art form to release and explore the self and the world around them. Let’s talk writing, publishing, and what it takes to follow yourself in this life.


David Nazario is an independent press with visions of making writing the center of his creative and professional life. Anyone who sees him perform, has read his writing, or has any interactions with him know that he is a classic perception of a writer dedicated to the path of love and expression.
The conversation that took place in the Writer’s Lounge was passion-filled, unmasking the depths of the “why” that is seen and heard through words, thought, and action. Being unapologetically free to be ourselves and create the life we want to live is paramount.

The way in which writers utilize their creations vary and David emphasizes the need for purpose in anything we decide to do in this life. Whether on a stage, in an office building, writing, reading, orchestrating, or facilitating, in the grand scheme of things, what we do in this life is meaningful. David’s existence amongst us will continue to remind us that we should live through the workings of our hearts and what songs our heart strings play. May we all continue to live as free as possible and allow our passions to grow and thrive. We thank you David for these glorious reminders of passion, purpose, and drive!
